Stephen Strobbe Elected to Board of Directors for the International Nurses Society on Addictions

U-M Depression Center member, Dr. Stephen Strobbe, Addictions Nursing Specialist at the University of Michigan Addiction Treatment Services (UMATS) and the Department of Psychiatry, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA), the leading professional organization in the speciality of addictions nursing.

Dr. Strobbe has been an active member of IntNSA since 1995, and has held specialty certification in addictions nursing since 1996. He has presented numerous papers and posters at their annual educational conferences, published articles in the Journal of Addictions Nursing (JAN), served on the Addictions Nursing Certification Board from 2002-2007, and received the IntNSA Administration/Management Award in 2007. Stephen will begin serving his two-year term on the Board of Directors in conjunction with the organization’s educational conference, which is being held in Greenwich, Connecticut in October.
